Nina started her passion with Dancing enforced by Classic Ballet, Modern Dance and Jazz Dance in Germany. She decided to bring it all together and went back to the roots of her dancing and the origins of Yoga. Nina’s teaching is based on a Sivananda Yoga Teacher Education and training in Germany. She has practiced for years and has continued to improve trough Teacher Workshops Worldwide with other teachers such as Baron Babtiste (Power Yoga), Mark Whitwell (Yoga of the Heard), Shiva Rea (Yoga Trance Dance) and other truly wonderful teachers. All of these teachers encouraged her to shape her personal style and provided lots of input. This all culminates in different techniques of moving the Body which Nina would like to express simply as “Nina’s Yoga Style” ![]() Nina’s strong dance background, love of music and sense of harmony gives great balance to her classes. Her classes are healing, flowing, and centered on the combination of breath and innate intelligence of the body. Individual and personal attention and adjustments are very important to Nina. She combines the different techniques of Acu–Yoga and Thai Yoga in her adjustments, which are very individual and powerful, thus assisting her students to achieve total relaxation of mind and body. Nina likes to inspire students of all levels to love and trust themselves, and to step out of their comfort zones into places they never thought were possible. Her teachings are deeply influenced by her own daily experiences of living at Tamarindo Beach in Costa Rica with her most loving family. Most important: Classes are fun ![]() In yoga it's important too, to loosen up - and that doesn't just mean only your body. That stiff mind of also needs a break.
